Where is the setting for checking website certificates ?

I am getting lots of spurious warnings about incorrect certificates for website that I know are perfectly safe.

I am fed up with this over-zealous, or plainly incorrect, behaviour by KIS.

Is it possible to disable this feature ?

Thanks for advice.

Thanks Berny, I guess I will do this but it’s all a bit of a pain.

I still think KIS is being over-zealous.

As I have said before, this happens with links in emails but not from bookmarks so I think the problem is third party sites associated somehow with the link.

But as the said email is from a trusted sender, which KIS knows, then surely it should also trust links within it ?

For example, in one email from “t.email.specsavers.com”, which is trusted, the offending certificate was issued to “*.adobe-campaign.com” !!!

I may still send a complaint cum suggestion to support.

Hello,

in one email from “t.email.specsavers.com”, which is trusted, the offending certificate was issued to “*.adobe-campaign.com”

This form is illegal. The certificate is issued to a certain domain name. Only this domain name can use this digital certificate, and no other website can use this certificate.

Regards.

This has happened over a dozen times in emails from trusted senders with links to trusted websites belonging to large, well-known UK companies.

Are you suggesting they are all using illegal certificates ?

I’m sorry but that’s difficult to believe.
