When does countdown start on each device?

Hello.

I have purchased a license if Internet Security 2020 yesterday for 3 devices. Already installed it yesterday on my laptop (18.08.).

 

When I install Internet Security on my second device (desktop PC) eg in on 20.08. will the 365 countdown for the deskop PC start on the 20th or shows remaining days from first use of the license on the laptop (18.08.)?

Hello @Dodger, Welcome.

The countdown for all devices starts at the moment you activate the first device.
If you activate on 20.8., the 18.8. will be shown as the activation date.

The term of the activation code starts counting from the first time it is activated. If the code is used on multiple devices, the term will begin when the code is applied on the first device.

Thanks for the quick reply yesterday. Searched for this info but couldn´t find it. Maybe used the wrong words/terms.

 

Unfortunately I activated the license before the Kaspersky AntiVirus countdown on my desktop fully expired so I am wasting days. :( Learned my lesson :)
