What is the purpose of creating KAV ..... SRV.Log and DRV.Log files [Solved][Closed]

What is the purpose of creating KAV ..... SRV.Log and DRV.Log files. Can I Delete them and other log files? And Please tell me in C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab what kind of files can be delete or not and I am using Windows 7 and also I am attaching log files screen shot for better detailing.

Hi @Mukesh Kumar, Welcome.

Looks like you have enabled traces.

Open KAV/KIS main window, klick on ‘Support’ (lower left, man with headset).

Klick on ‘Support Tools’.

Klick ‘Disable Traces’
 

 

After that you can delete all ‘*.log’ files in ‘C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab’.

Hi, in addition to Schulte, also it is safe to delete all files with .dmp extention in folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab.
