What are these AVP21.21 and AVP21.20 folders?

My system disk was 99% full. I found that more than 30% of the disk space is occupied by 2 Kaspersky Anti-virus folders C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.20 and C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.21

How can I clean the contents of these folders?

I use Kaspersky Small Office Security, version 21.21.7.384

This is the result of an incorrect antivirus update.
Try simply rebooting your computer (not turning it off/on).
If this does not help, you will need to remove version 21.20 using kavremover utility.

P.S. There is a Russian thread on the forum 🙂

Thank you. I'll try to do as you said.

Unfortunately, restarting the PC did not help. And kavremover utility does not detect version 21.20

Maybe 8 MR21 is version 21.20?

There is a new version 21.22 of KSOS.

Try to remove folder 21.20 manually, if locked, You can try to boot windows in Safe Mode, and remove, or boot the system from a Linux distro in a USB device, or even boot with Kaspersky Rescue Disk from a USB, and remove the folder.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to know, is it possible to manually delete the folder with the old version.

I'll keep trying. Thank you.

Of course, only remove the folder old the old previous version, not the current installed one 🙂
