Web content not displaying - "The resource ... was blocked due to its Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy header"

Hello,

I was trying to access a website, and the site wasn't blocked, but the main content (a form for signing up for an event) of the page didn't load, only the design template.

I am using Firefox 117.0.1 on Windows 11 and KIS. I have also tried Bing and Chrome, so I think this is a Kaspersky issue.

If I open the Firefox developer tools, I see the following error:

The resource at “https://ff.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com/FD126C42-EBFA-4E12-B309-BB3FDD723AC1/main.js?attr=J6X28CgJlCytkmbxeyhyv1byVwokYlLXB9-CDfEMQy7fqY0QKnra0lmIE8NNOhh2L-srdGczsnCq0YeUbCOPx8CTzhBl_bsT9rhTHPnY5mY9mR2MDgOnom3i88mZMP4qplcw08CAtENuz3GokUzDrQWAiGLwNdLOTwILcC4VrdqHsKOMS-Zo3z4zDl2ZG4V4Sl6PWslS1tiTi5YXHdiaw6vLi52mh9WbhbU89dq8ZaSb89lTotWQAY-ZafApW4p6ZGHxkKyBvANlp_SCk2vhzPXIOdSipFoeGlJD6BXn7Ng” was blocked due to its Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy header (or lack thereof). See https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/HTTP/Cross-Origin_Resource_Policy_(CORP)#

And the warning:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://ff.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com/FD126C42-EBFA-4E12-B309-BB3FDD723AC1/main.js?attr=J6X28CgJlCytkmbxeyhyv1byVwokYlLXB9-CDfEMQy7fqY0QKnra0lmIE8NNOhh2L-srdGczsnCq0YeUbCOPx8CTzhBl_bsT9rhTHPnY5mY9mR2MDgOnom3i88mZMP4qplcw08CAtENuz3GokUzDrQWAiGLwNdLOTwILcC4VrdqHsKOMS-Zo3z4zDl2ZG4V4Sl6PWslS1tiTi5YXHdiaw6vLi52mh9WbhbU89dq8ZaSb89lTotWQAY-ZafApW4p6ZGHxkKyBvANlp_SCk2vhzPXIOdSipFoeGlJD6BXn7Ng”.

I have tried adding the domain to the exclusion list in Firefox and turning off the Kaspersky plug in and clearing the cache - nothing helps. I had the same problem visiting https://my.kaspersky.com/#/auth/layout/main - I just get a blank white page.

Is there a correction or work-around for this problem?

Thanks,

Bill
