VPN is preventing mail sending via Mozilla Thunderbird

I have just upgraded to Kaspersky Premium 21.8.5.452 and have installed Kaspersky VPN.

When the VPN is enabled, it prevents me from sending mail through Mozilla Thunderbird.  When I disable the VPN, the mail sends OK.

Is there a setting I need to change in Thunderbird?

Perfect.  Added thunderbird.exe to the "Do Not Use VPN" and success.
