Hello @cv_steve

➡ KIS automatically sets a Low restricted Restrictions status for uTorrent

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zypOrcZ4WA

  • ➡ Have you changed the status to Trusted?

https://youtu.be/0rva1fzZTBE

& if you trust uTorrent, add a File Anti-Virus exclusion for uTorrent.exe, path is:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe

  • ➡  So we can see what KIS is actually blocking, may we have the KIS Report:

Open KIS, select MORE TOOLS, select Reports, select Detailed Reports, select All Events, select  7days, select Export, export the Report, save as a .txt file, 📎 attach the Report to your reply?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Thank you flood.  I just could not remember the steps to get to that list.  Its crazy that every time uTorrent updates or KIS updates i have to go through this.   Its like KIS cant remember what I choose.

Hello @cv_steve,

You’re most welcome☺ !

Thank you for letting us know the problem is resolved🤸

  • Regarding KIS “forgetting”, it’s a rule applied based on the the functions of uTorrent.
  • Have you also added a File Anti-Virus exclusion for uTorrent, if that’s added, theoretically, the exclusion will be maintained across updates🤔

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏
