User folders are locked from scans (Access Denied)

Greetings.

I have two issues I kindly ask your assistance with.

1st, the User folders aren’t being scanned. See attached report.

2nd, the WeChat xWeb.bin cannot be scanned (Processing error).

Hello @Shaare

Welcome!

  1. Is Tencent\WeChat\XWeb.bin able to be manually scanned, using KTS Selective scan
  2. Read before you create a new topic!
  3. Export KTS Settings. 
  4. Restore KTS Settings to Default.
  5. Shutdown computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login. 
  6. Make sure KTS is started and nothing else is running? 
  7. Run a manual Database update →  allow it to complete. 
  8. Run a manual Full scan →  allow it to complete → for this test → do not use the computer while it’s running. 
  9. When the Full scan is complete - recheck for any Access denied events? 

Please let us know the outcome? 

  • ⚠ Note: do not Import KTS Settings while the issue is being analysed
