Hello,

I currently have deployed on my company the "Kaspersky Next EDR Optimum" solution and we've been thinking of upgrading to XDR once the actual license expires in a few months.

From what i have seen online and heard from other IT specialists, XDR does not work like EDR Optimum/Foundations i.e. : it does not use Kaspersky Security Center but uses OSMP instead. I tried looking up online some migration guides and i found only this KB (Migration to Kaspersky Next XDR Expert) that explains how to go from KSC Win to KSC Linux in the Next XDR conetext, which has gotten me even more confused

Anyway, i would be extremely grateful if someone who has done this before could give me an idea about it.

Thanks

Hello Amine,

I think the support answered you right via INC000017513987 ?
can we close this post?

---------------------

The Kaspersky Next XDR Expert bundle includes the following four components:

1- Open Single Management Platform (OSMP)

2- Kaspersky Unified Monitoring and Analysis (KUMA) Platform

3- Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Expert 6.1 or higher
 -- Central Node
 -- Sandbox
 -- Sensor

4. One of the following EPPs
- Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Windows 3.16
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12 or higher
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 12.1 or higher
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac 12 or more

This is an Onpremise solution. It is not possible to migrate from Next EDR Optimum to XDR Expert.
A separate license is not enough.

If you wish to use Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform (KATA), which enables network traffic analysis via the Central Node, a separate license is required.

---------------------
