Unknown application is attempting to get access to

Keep getting a box “Unknown application is attempting to get access to” x.exe

where x.exe is a number of different programs some self written they aren’t the problem.

 

Why is this application unknown

is this unknown program safe?

why is this unknown program tying to access my files?

If Kaspersky doesn't know what the application is how does it know it’s safe?
