I have two laptops with McAfee on them, and I want to remove McAfee and install Kaspersky. remove McAfee first? any tips?

Hello @LOJPL3, Welcome.

It is always the first choice to remove an installed AV before installing another one.
The installed AV may interfere with the installation of its replacement, in the worst case both will not work.
