Welcome!

IF you’re using Windows File explorer at the same time as trying to delete the old backups, it may be creating a lock on the data:

  1. Were the old backups initially created as “On demand” or “Scheduled”?  
  2. Have you reset KTS Settings to Default (1) Export KTS Settings, (2) Restore KTS Settings & retry the delete? 
  3. Have you tried, pausing, exiting KTS & deleting the old backups manually? 
  4. If that doesn’t work, change to Safe Mode & perform the deletes.
