Unable to access internet using any browser or other programs

I was unable to use Firefox to access the internet. I tried Chrome it failed. I tried Edge and was able to use it for about 2 weeks and now it too is unable to access the internet.

I am able to now because I  have disabled ALL of Kaspersky. If I try anything but stopping ALL of Kaspersky I am unable to access the internet.

MS Windows 10 Version 1909 OS build 18363.1556

I am using Total Security version 21.3.10.391 (i)

Only this state allows me access to the internet. I am blocked going to http and https sites. I cannot access the internet using Perl or Python code.

I was taking a look at your problem, could you update your Windows? because the version you are using has already been entered. there are several Bugs that have already been fixed, as the link below informs.

I've tried many times to update my windows version but it always stops part way with a bizarre error message.

I really don't think that has anything to do with it since stopping all of Kaspersky did give me access.

I suspect that Kaspersky has some sort of AI component that observes system actions and eventually decides to interfere with the code I have written. I noted that Firefox and Chrome stopped working before Edge did. I had not used before these other browsers failed. Eventually the Perl and Python code failed. Finally, Edge failed. It was a progressive failure which I assume means that the actions taken by these programs are observed and eventually deemed to be trouble by Kaspersky.

I can try to get through the Windows update process, but I believe it requires me to uninstall a number of drivers and reinstall them after the update completes.
