In Windows 10 I can see that two versions of KIS are installed on my PC: 20.0.14.1085 and 21.1.15.500, installed in August, 2020 and just recently.

Should I uninstall the earlier version (20.0.14.1085)?

@Bukkdog, these are the consequences of incorrect updating of the antivirus to the new version.
Delete KIS 2020 and check the correct operation of KIS 2021.

You may need to reinstall it.

Blame that on the developers. I never update KIS manually.

I’ll get rid of 20 and see what happens. No big deal if I need to reinstall 21 from scratch - my settings are backed up.

Hello, I would advise you to reinstall the whole package, as deleting a Version while another one is up and Maybe running can cause both of them to conflict with each other and slow down the system

Uninstalling both versions with kavremover was effortless, as was installing a fresh copy of KIS 21 and restoring my settings.
