Problem

When trying to install KES Cloud package, Network Agent installation is completed, but connection to the KES Cloud fails.

When checking klnagchk.log we can see this error:

Attempting to connect to Administration Server...Transport level error has occurred while connecting to http://*.cloud.kaspersky.com/*:13000: SSL authentication failure, the certificate is invalid or outdated.

Solution

The most common reason for this is outdated certificate. The certificate can be updated with a re-downloaded package.

1. Uninstall application as described in this article:

https://support.kaspersky.com/Cloud/1.0/en-US/138148.htm

2. Change the language of package to different one and prepare a package.

3. Then create a new package as shown on the attached screenshot - click on the down arrow, select your language again and press on it, a window with agreements appear, mark the checkboxes and press next until this window will be closed. Wait for a few moments for the package to be created and then press "Download". Certificate will be updated.

4. Try to install this new package on one of the machines, and then on the rest of them if the issue is resolved with the new package.
