Trojan.Win32.Ekstak.vho

Yesterday I installed a .exe and had a surprise. My paid Kaspersky immediately detected a Trojan, but he can't remove it. About "Trojan.Win32.Ekstak.vho" detected no information available. Google Chrome cannot be uninstalled.

Hi, please submit traces with description of the issue to technical support via Consumer Support Contacts

How to enable traces:

https://support.kaspersky.com/14551

  • enable traces
  • restart PC
  • run a scan to detect the trojan
  • try to Resolve the detected threat (restart PC if needed)
  • stop traces

Send the tracelogs to support in an archive (to reduce the size of the files)

Of course I installed a new copy of Windows 7 x64, but I kept a copy of the .exe file where the trojan is. I'm looking for a way to get him here for the exams.

Hello   @ursus2,

Log the case, https://my.kaspersky.com/techsupport#/requests/new, under your Kaspersky (paid) software, bc, Kaspersky Technical Support do not provide any support for Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, also, mention Igor Kurzin advised you to log the case, include the zipped malware, password protect the zipped file, with the password “virus” or “infected” - without quotes, and in the problem description, tell the TS Team the full history of the issue & password you’ve used.

Thank you
