Trojan malware, "HEUR:Trojan.VBS.SAgent.gen", DHL email attachment.

Hi!

Yesterday my friend received an email from DHL with attachment: "DHL_Nov 2020 at 1.99_8BZ290_JPG.img" He opened the attachment, Vipre antivirus software didn't warned him. It seemed for me to be suspicious, I moved the hardddisk to my computer and checked it with Kaspersky. KIS found "DHL_Nov 2020 at 1.99_8BZ290_JPG.vbs" infected with "HEUR:Trojan.VBS.SAgent.gen" in the saved "DHL_Nov 2020 at 1.99_8BZ290_JPG.img" file in a temporary folder, and deleted it. Do we have to worry about computer remained infected? Can we start the computer, buy and install KIS on that to replace Vipre?

Welcome. Yes, you can start the computer, buy and install KIS on that to replace Vipre. The computer is probably ok/fine. Please do not click on/open attachments on phishing emails. 

 

Was he expecting an email from DHL? If not, delete it and call by phone.
