Total security install issue .net windows 10

hi, anyone hlp me with an install issue please. I have a windows 10 64x machine. Had an issue running Total security - says cant install .Net framework. I have run all windows updates and they have completed. I have stopped the windows update service, renamed the softwaredistribution folder, but all to no avail. From dotnet --info I am running .Net 5.0.14 and .Net 6.0.2 - I think - but i am no fan of .net. I cant find any .net info in programmes or features. kind of running out of ideas. anyone got some thoughts Please?

Can you please post a screenshot from the alert  “can’t install .Net framework”

Hi yes I have seen this, I ran the fix tool, which doesn’t find an issue but does restart a few services. I have run in all the windows updates and they are complete and I have run in the desktop runtime. But error still occurs at the same point in the install.
