System tray icon not showing 'Database release date'

Possibly since updating to Windows 11 I have noticed that the system tray icon not showing 'Database release date' when hovering over the KTS icon.

I only see the single line detailing the build and not the second line detailing the release date.

In the meantime is there another way to show the database release date?

I’m on Win 11 Pro, 21H2 b22000.51 & KTS 21.3.10.391(c)

Hello @robert.routledge

Welcome back!

We’ve updated 5 Win10 devices to 21H2, the KTS database release date & time, is still showing in the Kaspersky icon, floating popup.

You can also find the same information by:

  1. Open KTS
  2. Select Headset → Support
  3. In the Support window, the Database release date & time is on the 4th line from the top

To recover the popup window, do the following:

  1. Export KTS Settings.
  2. Restore KTS Settings.
  3. Power OFF computer using Shutdown, not Restart.
  4. Power ON, login, do not start any applications ATM except KTS
  5. Check if KTS icon, shows the popup window?
  6. IF “no”, do the following:
  7. Uninstall KTS, save License information ONLY.
  8. Power OFF computer using Shutdown, not Restart.
  9. Power ON, login.
  10. Download & clean install KTS
  11. Configure KTS
  12. Run a manual Database update
  13. Power OFF computer using Shutdown, not Restart.
  14. Power ON, login.
  15. Make sure KTS is running?
  16. Check the KTS icon, popup window?
  17. Fixed? Please let us know?
  18. Not fixed? Log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support

Please let us know the outcome?

Thank you🙏

Windows 11 is in development and it’s not finished yet, so errors with 3rd party software are very common.
