Switching from KIS to KSC Free

My license for KIS 2020 ends in 4 days. I am switching to KSC Free. How should I go about this? What do I need to do?

You don't have to do anything. Your KIS automatically switches to Kaspersky Free after the license expires.

So that works for the Security Cloud? I did see that article, but wasn’t sure whether that applied to KSC or just the standard basic anti-virus? Won’t the SC need to be downloaded?

Also, another question. Does the same apply to my Android phone?

It turns out that I actually needed to delete KIS and then download KSC free. Just to let others know who might make the same decision as I did.
