Subscription renewal rip-off

Recommended Posts

I have Kaspersky total security. 21.3.10.391 (b)

I have 2 years on 1 device to run on my subscription.

I wish to extend this by another 2 years or so.

However, This proved more difficult than you would imagine.

After going thorough customer support and using the link provided by them..

£69.99 is what they attempted to charge me for 1 device for 2 years.

Yet £34.99 is the price plastered all over the website in the usual big discount deals.

Erm WHY ?

I love Kaspersky  this is why i wish to extend but come on bit rude, Wont  be renewing after all.

 Hello @Faithles

Welcome!

Personally, we cannot answer “why?”; in the Community there’s various posts where different reasons have been posted, however, we never use the “renew” option, why? Because, across 10 years we’ve subscribed to Kaspersky products, “renewal subscriptions” have always been more expensive & the benefits, as documented by Kaspersky, are, in our opinion, of little value.

Whenever we wish to extend or add to our subscriptions, we always do so by purchasing a new subscription, from Kaspersky website(s), at certain times of year, for example, the end of the financial year; when there’s offers with good discounts.

Thank you🙏
