Every time I reboot my Windows 10 laptop, I get this message from Kaspersky:  Startup is blocked for igfxEM Module.

I can’t even find it on my computer and I’m tired of seeing this.   Where is it that they are blocking it, and why?   I did a scan and no malicious software came up.   I think this happened after the last Windows 10 Update.   I HATE UPDATES!!!

Hello @Singingchristia

Welcome!

Please share with us:

  1. Windows 10 version & build?
  2. KIS version & patch(x) → on Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About
  3. Does the computer have Nvidia & or AMD Graphic cards?
  4. Are all device Display adapters drivers up to date?
  5. Type igfxem in the Windows Search box, right-click igfxem (or IgfxEM.exe) in the search result → select Open file location → right-click on igfxem.exe → select Properties from the context menu → go to the Digital Signatures tab → check the Signature list table → who are the digital signatories?
  6.  In KIS Reports, look for igfxEM events, save the Report as a .txt file, attach📎 the Report to your reply?
  7. Take a full screen image of the  “Startup is blocked for igfxEM Module”, attach📎 to your reply → we need to see what you see?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏
