Spotify is beeing blocked by Kaspersky Free

Hello, I recently found out, that my Spotify is not working anymore, after some troubleshooting I found out, that it is because of Kaspersky. Can I do something about it?

Can you please search in your Kaspersky reports for a Spotify detection.

I’m having the same issue via Kaspersky Premium - Spotify is being blocked and won’t load properly unless I disable Kaspersky.

 

When I try to add Spotify to my excluded apps, the Kaspersky application crashes.

So I finally figured it out, and I don’t know if this was the same case for you, but it all started after I updated windows. Once I did that, it messed with the permissions of Kaspersky and probably other applications, but I just uninstalled Kaspersky > restarted > reinstalled Kaspersky > restarted, and now it’s working as intended.
