Hello,

I recently purchased Kaspersky VPN. I'm experiencing issues with the Battle.net launcher while using the Split Tunneling feature. I want to use the VPN feature only for my browser and torrent program. When I add these two applications to the list of applications that connect through the VPN, the Battle.net launcher has connection issues, as shown in the picture. Additionally, when I add the Battle.net launcher to the list of programs that should never connect through the VPN, I encounter the same issue.

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Is the VPN permanently enabled and connected?

If you enable the VPN for all systems, it does work. But if you try to split connect "only for discord in my case" I cannot access steam games and battle.net

If you do not use split tunneling option, Battle.net launcher able to connect. But this time you face lag issues when you play the game. The main idea is to prevent the game/launcher not to use VPN.

As I mentioned in my first post, If you use the split tunneling either of the 2 ways, the luncher doesn't work. And the loading screen keeps turning and turning as you can see in the screenshot of my first post.

This kind of split tunneling works on different VPN providers such as "VPN Unlimited by Monodefense". But Kaspersky can not able to manage the split tunneling.

KVPN has a very weird Split Tunneling feature, that I never saw in some others VPN: Apps that always connect via VPN.

And I know for other users that it never works properly, and with issues.

So, I only use the usual Split Tunneling setting: Apps that never connect via VPN

This way, keep KVPN always connected / enabled if Unlimited (enabling Kill Switth if needed), and create exclusions with Split Tunneling setting: Apps that always connect via VPN (typical one here is email clients, etc.)

Still, contact to K. Support
