Someone logged into my Kaspersky account

I've just recently checked the "system audit" tab of Kaspersky free, and was surprised to find that for the past month or so, someone had been signing in to my Kaspersky account every 3 or 4 days. Of course, I've changed my password and enabled 2 factor, but is there anything I should be worrying about besides losing access to my Kaspersky account? What are the implications of someone having access to my account? Why did they log in multiple times? Is it possible that anything on my PC is at risk because of this?

OS: Microsoft windows version 22h2 (OS Build 19045.2251)

Kaspersky Free version: 21.8.5.452 (a)

thanks,

Colin

Hello @Colin & @adsabhj

Welcome!

Firstly @Colin, we're sorry no-one has replied to you for such a long time😔

& @adsabhj, don't be scared, make sure Two factor authentication is enabled - How to set up two-step verification - using SMS & authenticator apps on more than one device & read the following please:

IF (you) log into (your) MyKaspersky account, from another browser, while you're logged into the Community Forum & IF this event is configured to be saved to the Kaspersky Reports, then this situation will result

First check IF in Notifications, is We detected your my Kaspersky account was visited from another device - configured to Save in local report -> image 1 & 2, read: How to configure delivery of notifications

  • Result - image 3

(You) can test this, *UNCHECK*  We detected your my Kaspersky account was visited from another device  🔲Save in local report, select OK to save the change, then start another browser, for example Edge & log into (your) MyKaspersky account. Recheck the Kaspersky Reports to see if We detected your my Kaspersky account was visited from another device - is in the Report? In the Edge browser, LOG OUT of your MyKaspersky account - then go back to the Notifications &  *CHECK*  We detected your my Kaspersky account was visited from another device  🔳Save in local report, select OK to save the change, repeat the test, start the Edge browser, sign into your MyKaspersky account, check Kaspersky Reports?

If you need help please post back?

Thank you🙏
