Solutions for Unblocking Microsoft Edge in Kaspersky Internet Security

Hi Everyone

I'm currently facing a frustrating issue where my Microsoft Edge browser is being blocked by Kaspersky Internet Security. This has significantly hindered my browsing capabilities, and I am unable to access several important sites. I'm curious to know if anyone else has encountered a similar problem. How did you manage to resolve it? Were there specific settings you adjusted or exceptions you had to configure within Kaspersky to unblock Edge?

When You tell about Edge being blocked, what do You mean? Got some KIS warnings, sites detected as malware, phishing, etc.?

 

Also, You should migrate Your KIS to the new product line -> K. Standard product.

By "blocked," I mean I can’t access any sites through Edge, and Kaspersky doesn’t show any specific warnings or notifications about malware or phishing. It just seems to stop the connection altogether. I'll look into migrating to the K. Standard product as you suggested. Appreciate your guidance!

This explains the migration path from Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) to Kaspersky Standard, but I’m wondering about the migration process itself.

If I migrate from Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) to Kaspersky Standard, will all my existing settings, preferences, and exclusions carry over automatically during the upgrade? Or will I need to manually reconfigure everything after switching to Kaspersky Standard?

Would appreciate any clarity on how seamless this migration is.

You can try to export previously the KIS config.
