Hi!
I downloaded a zip file containing some png files and a .scr file. The scr file was just a few megabytes when compressed, but 420 Mb unpacked. Kaspersky Security Cloud didn't find anything suspicious about it, so I double-clicked it (don't ask me why). Nothing seemed to happen, but I'm still afraid that the computer is infected without my knowledge. What should I do? This is the file: "https://cutt.ly/KKaK6rH" . Can anyone see if the file contains something harmful?
Thank you!

Olof

@Olof  Welcome.

Please see Kaspersky scan result below.

Thank you!

But if there was no threat in the file, what was the purpose of that file? A failed attempt at a decompression bomb? It is not likely a screensaver.

@Olof You are welcome.

Decompressing is working with 7-ZIP.
You can check the file content with e.g. Edit Pad Lite.
A "second opinion" scan with another tool says "Clean" on all objects.

Hello, @Olof

When I access the url to download the file. I encounter this redirection url information.

Do you send these files again to here and share the download link via private message to me? Thanks.

Regards.
