This problem has started about 2 weeks ago.

When I go into certain sites, for example, amazon.com, Chrome will freeze when I go to search for something within amazon.com.  This occurs on other sites as well but the best example I could give is amazon.com

 

I noticed my extensions Password Manager and Protection are active in the browser, however, I’m unable to click them in the top right corner to get more information.

@celsurf Can you please specify Chrome- and Extension version.

@Berny, but we do not know which version of KTS the @celsurf has.

 

I am using version 20.0.14.1085(m) - The latest I assume.

I tried removing the Protection extension and added it again after removing it.  The version in the screenshot is the version that was added again.

@andrew75 I am indeed talking about :

  • Kaspersky  2021
  • Chrome 86.0.4240.111 (Official build) (64-bits)
  • Extension 1.1.35.0

Let’s wait on celsurf’s comments , K 2021 could be the fix ?

There is still an issue that happens intermittently. 😮 

 

Everything on version 20 of KTS worked flawlessly with SafeMoney when using the correct extensions.

 

I have the correct extension versions for version 21 as version 21 of KTS.  Are the extensions available for version 20 somewhere ?  I’ll be reverting back if I can. It was working flawlessly until the wrong extension version was picked up.

 

This needs to be looked at.

  • Log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, provide a detailed history, including software & system specifics, all actions taken, the Community topic URL, a GSI & Windows Logs, Support may request Traces, they will guide you. 

 

  • After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.
  • Post the incident # here in your topic? 
  • Please share the outcome with the Community when it’s available?

I’ve liked Kaspersky products for years but I’m WAY to busy with my day job to help shake this down.  With this corona virus still raging, my day job is to important .

 

This should have been caught in Beta testing. 

 

My systems ran flawlessly prior to this upgrade to version 21. 😒

Thanks to all that have tried to help but at this point my day job which I’m very busy with takes priority. 

 

I’ve liked Kaspersky products for years but I really don’t have the time now to shake this down with support. This should have been caught in beta testing.

 

Thanks again to everyone. 

 

I’ll be reverting back to version 20 if I can and have the time.

It’s your choice whether or not you follow up the issue, not currently defined as a bug, with the Kaspersky Technical experts. 

If there is a bug, it will not get sorted without data.

Definitely a Safe Money issue. The site runs flawless when Safe Money isn’t invoked and all extensions are active. Reported the problem on the Safe Money screen at bottom right.

I sent it to Kaspersky support.  Haven’t posted it for Privacy reasons,
