Resubscribing for Security Cloud early. Countdown After current subscription ends?

I bought a 1 year subscription to Kaspersky Security Cloud, and want to renew it now while I know I can without undue stress. I know I will have job security and can meet essentials in the future, I don’t know if that includes a premium antivirus. So I feel I should purchase it now while I can. But I don’t want to do that if the subscription will start counting down immediately. I would only do that that if it was added to my current sub and began counting down immediately after my current sub ends…. I hope I am making sense.

Any guidance from on high?

From what I know if you buy the exactly same product, the license will only be activated after the current one ends. 

But I’d recommend you to create a support ticket to ask that to official Kaspersky employees. They’ll have no problem answering you.

@rkennedy.1986 Welcome. The countdown of the license is starting on the purchase date only if you choose for the auto-renewal plan, if not the countdown will start on activation date.
