Request for assistance: False positive flag (crypto scam) on own website

Hello guys,

I am the owner of a website that is being blocked by Kaspersky Safe Browsing feature with the following message:

"We prevented you from visiting a cryptocurrency scam website.

This website was set up to steal your funds or trick you into sharing private virtual wallet data, usernames and passwords.

We prevented you from visiting the website to protect your data. You can safely close this window.
How to identify cryptocurrency scams.
Detected: 09/28/2024 07:53:35 p.m.
Blocked: By Safe Browsing
Reason: threat of data loss
Detection method: Cloud protection"

I am confident this is not a certificate issue, and my website is safe. This is the only antivirus flagging the website like this, and I believe the issue might be due to a past feature where users could log in using a cryptocurrency wallet. That feature has since been removed, but it seems the website may have been flagged as dangerous during that period.

Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue and remove the block, if possible?

Thank you for your assistance!

Best regards,

Hi guys, I tried what that URL suggests, but I didn't get any answer or solution to the problem.

What I was able to see when analyzing the website, is that it marks this element as "dangerous": https://opentip.kaspersky.com/3ea1c8d079b38532a6e01a96216ba5e2/results

Maybe this can help explain the problem better? I hope so.
Thanks in advance for any possible help!

Submit direct to Kaspersky Customer Service - https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - so they can send to the Kaspersky Virus Lab for (you) - on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown - note: select (your) Kaspersky software (A); please include a *detailed history*.

*Also* - IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*

Hello, I've tried this but:

1) If I select any FREE app (which has no relation to my problem) I'm invited to check this forum:

image.thumb.png.e2f703f890db0fc2235c42683adbd38b.png

If i choose instead the normal antivirus, I don't get a "False positive" option neither:

Will now try to share this info through any other channel anyway, thanks for your help and suggestions!

Hello @gordomanejador

Thank you for posting back & the information!

  1. Don't select Kaspersky Free, there's no Kaspersky support for any Kaspersky Free or Beta software.
  2. AFTER selecting (your) Kaspersky application - as we showed in our first reply, select Malware, then the False Positive option will be visible:                  image.thumb.png.f47d906372c6ffb2db0a50ee5bb4927a.png

Thank you🙏
