Remotely connect PC and laptop

Hi,

Does anybody know if VPN SC can be used to connect a laptop in one location to a PC in another?  The PC is running Win 11 Pro and the laptop is 11 Home.  Both machines are running Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection.

When they're both on the same network the machines connect perfectly, regardless as to whether the VPN is switched on or off, but when they're on different networks the RDC on the laptop says that it can't find the PC, even if the VPN is switched on on both machines.

The machines are using K Premium on the same account.

I've set every permission I can find to open the link, but still no joy.

Is it just that you can't use Kaspersky for this or have I missed a setting somewhere?

This could maybe be related with hidden IP addresse 🤔 , did you contact Kaspersky Technical Support ?

Yes, it's gone to level 3, but I was hoping that someone might have solved it already, thanks.
