Hi

 

I just wanted to check the Kaspersky is always running in the background, in other words I don't have to scan to stay protected. I am using Kaspersky Internet Security.

Hi,

Yes kaspersky scanning on the background. You can check taskmanager processes.

Also it is recommended scannig your PC once per month (full scan for example) to ensure safety against viruses.
