Problem with updating Kaspersky Total Security.

I can't update my Kaspersky Total Security. License will remain active in the next 450 days. When I try to update connection interrupted after few seconds. Every time Antivirus download 5.7 Kb and turned off.

OK. How I can update my Kaspersky and if it's not allowed, can I continue using antivirus or I have to buy another one?

Unfortunately, Kaspersky will not update anymore. They have pushed out UltraAV as a free alternative. However, that software literally did not exist 3 months ago and there have been many reported problems with it. It has not been independently tested like all other AV software programs on the market.

Through this public forum I'm not allowed to recommend a specific software to use as an alternative, but I highly recommend paying for one that has good testing results from AV-Comparatives

Maybe you can download Kaspersky updates using a Third Party Trial VPN, follow these steps:

1. Install a third-party VPN like NordVPN or ExpressVPN.
2. Connect to a VPN server in a country where Kaspersky is not restricted (e.g., Canada, Switzerland).
3. Go to the Kaspersky official website (https://www.kaspersky.com).
4. Download the latest updates for your Kaspersky software manually.
5. Install the updates by following the instructions on the website.
6. Until Kaspersky figures out better solutions.

Installing Trial versions of third-party VPN you can try this method to bypasses the regional restrictions imposed on Kaspersky in the USA.
