So, today I got this message from Kaspersky:

Event: Previously opened malicious link detected
User:
User type: Active user
Application name: chrome.exe
Application path: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application
Component: Web Anti-Virus
Result description: Not processed
Type: Probability of unauthorized software download
Name:
Threat level: High
Object type: Web page
Object name:
Object path:
Reason: Cloud Protection

I don’t remember clicking on a malicious site that was said in Kaspersky message. I looked in my browser history and the malicious site was not there. I can give a link to the site if it is needed to resolve the problem. But again, I didn’t clicked on it. I am very sorry for my grammar.

Hello @Luxury_f0cus_2017

Welcome!

Your English/grammar is *fine*, do not worry?

  1. Look in Kaspersky Reports, the event(s) should show in the Web Anti-Virus OR Safe Browsing Reports, depending on which Kaspersky software version is installed -> to check the version, open the Kaspersky app, in the lower-left-hand-corner, select the Headset? icon, this opens the Support page which shows the (Kaspersky) application version on the fourth line from the top?
  2. Kaspersky Cloud Protection blocked the malicious object before it reached (your) system.
  3. Run a Full scan & make sure there are no detections
  4. IF you have further concerns or questions please post back & include a full screen screen-print of the Kaspersky Report, showing the original detection please?

Thank you?

@Brande Arnett Welcome.
