Hello, I have software need to install on my pc then i see error on progress install, please check screenshot what is my problem.

Hello @Sakti

Welcome!

  1. Which software are you trying to install?
  2. Is the Hosts file original?
  3. Is Windows Defender active?
  4. Before installing Kaspersky Total Security (KTS), was a check whether any applications installed on your computer are incompatible with Kaspersky Total Security done?
  5. Which KTS version & patch(x) is installed?
  6. Has an exclusion been added for the Hosts file?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Sakti

You’re most welcome🙂 !

  1. If KTS Protection is paused & or exited, does the Windows Hosts file Lock check issue repeat?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

@Sakti, you can disable control over the host file in the antivirus settings.:

Settings - Protection - Application Control - Manage Resousces
