I have both an old MacBook running MacOS 10.11, El Capitan, and an old Windows netbook running Win7 Starter.

I see that KIS20 still supports Win7, and KIS18 supports El Capitan, which is a great start. I assume a KIS subscription includes downgrade rights to run previous versions? I also assume support for KIS18 will drop when KIS21 is released in the next year, but I assume that won’t be an immediate problem.

Both machines are struggling a bit for power these days. I see from AV Comparatives’ performance chart that KIS does very well for Windows, but I’ve so far failed to find out how resource hungry they are on Macs.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Many thanks in advance! Dave

Hello,

You can trial to use KIS for free 30 days. So I think you can check whether KIS for mac build is situable for your old mac book or not.

Regards.
