I have been using Outlook and accessing my Gmail account for a couple of years. Today, Outlook said that it disabled Kaspersky because it was taking too much time. Now Outlook cannot retrieve my Gmail emails. I deleted my gmail account in Outlook and re-entered it. Still did not work. HELP!

Hello grovertheteacher, Welcome! Please tell us:
  1. Device operating system (full name)? version? build?
  2. KIS version? build? patch(x)? x= letter? Free or Licensed? (see note at the end of my reply)
  3. Kaspersky Outlook plugins? version?
  4. Outlook full name? version?
----
  1. Please check the Kaspersky Outlook plugin(s), are they enabled?
IF "yes"
  1. Please check device event application logs - look for any application failures, notably Kaspersky, Outlook, in the time frame the issue began.
Please report back with event logs? ---- Possible resolution steps to follow:
  1. Uninstall KIS, save "License" information only.
  2. Shutdown device using FULL shutdown, (not RESTART)
  3. Start device.
  4. Login
  5. Download fresh KIS installer.
  6. Install KIS
  7. Shutdown device using FULL shutdown, (not RESTART)
  8. Start device.
  9. Login.
  10. Select KIS application, make sure it starts
  11. Run manual database update - allow it to complete
  12. Run manual FULL scan - allow it to complete.
  13. Start Outlook, check Gmail receiving emails? Working :clap_tone3:
  14. Not working?:disappointed_relieved:, please let me know?
  15. & reset Outlook (if the function is available)
  16. & reset / check the network, including, if necessary reboot router.
Thank you. Note: Kaspersky free software has (config) limitations, advertising & no Technical Support. If we know this, we ensure we never waste your time, advising you, for example: "contact Technical Support".
