I’ve been searching high and low for a link to the configuration file download to install Kaspersky VPN on my Android tv.

I’m assured it exists somewhere, I’ve got the OpenVPN app on my tv just waiting to apply the file.

if anyone knows of a link could you please let me know.

Ive looked everywhere on the Kaspersky site.

Hi,

I eventually found an ovpn download and got as far as loading it into the OpenVpn app on my Android tv.

I then discovered that I need a username and password to complete the set up.

I even tried using my Kaspersky login in which obviously didn’t work.

So I’m still stuck. Great info on that page by the way.

Hello @CWebb

Thank you for posting back!

  1. Use OpenVpn Login & Password
  • [credentials ] = username and password.
  • Use the Copy icon to copy the Login & Password then paste those into the Android TV app.

I understand how frustrating it can be to search for something specific and not find it! To download the configuration file for Kaspersky VPN on your Android TV, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your My Kaspersky account.

  2. Navigate to the VPN section and select Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection.

  3. Export the VPN configuration file. This file will be in the OpenVPN format (OVPN)1.

  4. Download the OVPN file to your device.

Once you have the OVPN file, you can import it into your OpenVPN app on your Android TV.

If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

  1. I'm guaranteed it exists some place, I have the OpenVPN application on my television simply standing by to apply the record.

Hello @MMHN

Welcome!

  1. Yes, follow this: How to set up VPN in third-party clients; then on the Television - import & authenticate the OpenVPN credentials file                                                                                       image.thumb.png.16817c8c7e2a983386fa043aac77d858.pngimage.thumb.png.0c1aaf2d9631ab7e84a1bb6b71c764ef.png
  2. There's also the option of using OpenVPN on your router and then connecting to that router's Wi-Fi network.
  3. OR log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown:
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*
