My two main browsers (Chrome and Firefox) are set up to be protected by Kaspersky safe banking tool. I tried to purchase Woolworths e-wish cards through RACQ many times, and each time received the response that they were unable to process at this time.

Finally, after several days, I thought why not try my Opera browser (which isn’t set up for safe banking)? Immediate success. Maybe Kaspersky should be fixing this glitch.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391(a) on a PC operating Windows 10.

Hello @Clem F.

Welcome!

  • Kaspersky can’t fix anything they don’t know about.
  1. In KIS Reports, are there any errors that reflect the issue?
  2. In KIS browser extension, for RACQ & Woolworths, is Private Browsing, Allow data collection ON → image 1?
  3. In KIS browser extension, for RACQ & Woolworths, is Anti-Banner, Allowed - image 2?
  4. IF the RACQ URL is added to Settings, Network settings, Encrypted connection scanning, Manage exclusions → image 3, do transactions process with Chrome and or Firefox?
  5. IF the e-cards are being purchased via Woolworths, it may be necessary to add a similar exclusion for Woolworths🤔
  6. As a test only: exit all browsers, go to KIS SettingsNetwork settingsUNCHECK Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages → image 4start browser Chrome & or Firefox, recheck payment issue, if the result is still, unable to process OL credit card txn, reapply the check to Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages, do not leave it disabled.
