Ok to install new version over the old version, or will I have to uninstall the old version first?

Hello AvalonP, Kaspersky has been allowing installation on top for a long time. However, as something can always go wrong, we recommend uninstalling the existing product. It only takes five minutes longer, but it is the safest way.

I installed KIS 2020 on top of KIS 2019 on 3 laptops running Windows 10 Pro 1903. All I can say is WOW! Installation was flawless. Performance is top notch. Great job Kaspersky!!
