New World Trojan Stealerc

[Nightmare]

Hi Guys,

Went to open steam, and New world started downloading an update, went by and open the game then i got the alert from Kaspersky and the game got closed.

 

As the alarm say USD:Trojan-PSW.Win32.Stealerc

 

(BTW got this from inside steam)

Kaspersky blocked the suspicious object before it reached your system.
Before reloading the quarantine and trust the object please submit a ticket to Kaspersky Technical Support :

→ https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c/ → Request : "Malware"

Same here, even though I keep restoring the file Kaspersky keeps on deleting it. Cant play at the moment.

• Disable : Performance → PC Speed-up → ⚙️Settings → Perform recommended actions automatically
• Kaspersky will ask you to decide which action to take on detected objects
• Choose  for “Quarantine”
• Restore the  quarantined object
• Create an exclusion rule for the object
• Enable : Performance → PC Speed-up → ⚙️Settings → Perform recommended actions automatically
• Reboot

I just installed new World from Steam fresh and i get a launch denied error with a report on

UDS:Trojan-PSW.Win32.Stealerc.kc in D:\Steam\steamapps\common\New World\Bin64\NewWorld.exe

I dont think the file is actually infected.

This might be a false positive ?, only if you trust "NewWorld.exe" please follow procedure above.
Also,  please contact Kaspersky Technical Support who will deny or confirm a FP,
if it's a FP Kaspersky Virus Lab  will  whitelist the object in the Virus signatures.

trojan-psw.win32.stealer.kc steam new world still no progress ? We can't enter the game without turning off Kaspersky. Please don't say look at the post above your post.
