new update removed chrome extension?

So I got an notifications asking me to restart to update and I did. After, my shortcut to kaspersky didnt work and when opening chrome, it asked me to allow the kaspersky extension to be added even though I had it before. So I was just wondering if any of this was normal as it was kind of weird. Also, after updating, it asked me to restart again. Thanks.

 @Lester, yes, it is normal. With the new version of the antivirus, a new version of the extension is installed.
