Both of my laptops are showing network attack detected when connected to a particular mobile hotspot. And, hence, my net speed is fluctuating from 1 MB/s to 0 B/s. And, network attack block notification is repeatedly coming. Please Please help me.

Hello,

Do you use KIS 2021 MR2 or MR3 ?

Regards.

I have recently installed kaspersky internet security from official website some 1.5 weeks ago. So, I am pretty sure, it's the most latest version.

Hello,

It looks like an actual attack which has been blocked, so you have nothing to worry about. Kaspersky is doing its job protecting you.

To verify that it is not a false detection, we would need traces and network logs submitted to technical support via my.kaspersky.com

Regards.

Hello,

The attack IP is a ipv6 address: 2401:4900:104c:c236:f186:8d88:3244:c38 is belongs India Bharti Airtel Limited. Do you use ipv6 address in your network? If you could, You can close ipv6 protocol using ipv4 instead.

Regards.

Hello,

Please see the following screenshot. just un-check Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6). I don’t know your network whether is based on IPv6 or not. In my side, My network is based on IPv4 now. If you encounter some network problem after disabled ipv6 support, Please turn the settings back.

Regards.

Hello,

This network threat is not hindered by network protocols. IPv4 is more mature than IPv6. It's that simple.
