I’m running the latest release of Windows 10.  I just installed Kaspersky Total Security.

I need to be able to disable it temporarily from time to time. However, I do not see any place to temporarily disable this AV.

I right-clicked the Kaspersky icon, but all I see in the menu is this:

  • Scan
  • Database Update
  • Tools  >
  • Settings  >
  • Kaspersky Total Security (which pops up a window with more settings, including Scan, Database Update, Privacy Protection, My Kaspersky, Backup and Restore, etc.)

I could not find anything under Tools or Settings that lets me temporarily disable the application.

I also looked under all the other settings

Can someone help me with this?  Thank you.

That is what I did. I right-clicked. Here is what I see:

Hello @JustAnotherUser

In your image, the Kaspersky application icon is pinned to the taskbar.

Further to the right, select the tiny up arrow, then rightclick the Kaspersky icon

Thank you🙏

I see the scroll bar, but nope, it doesn’t scroll beyond what you see in these pics. These are the only options I see.

(One pic is right-clicking via my Start menu, the other is right-clicking the icon on my task bar.)

Start  menu:

Hi @JustAnotherUser,

your screenshots show the Taskbar menu.

We need the Systray menu.

what do you see on your screen in the lower right corner?

Ah, thank you! I found the pause protection option. I appreciate your help.
