My screenshots are black

I have just discovered my screenshots are now black - I cannot take a screenshot at all anymore just over the past day or so, but some go back a week, then they worked, then they have gone black again.

Could this be my security?  I haven’t installed any new software since this happened.  I am always using my screenshots, but am wondering if something has found it’s way onto my computer via an update or ???

Please disable temporary Kaspersky  ?

Did you try with another tool e.g. MS Paint , MS Snipping Tool ?

Thank you.  Yes, it worked today, in that I opened up Paint, took a screenshot and pasted it in there.  It worked.  I did not temporarily disable Kaspersky.

Then I checked and it was also in my Screenshot folder in pictures.  What is going on?  I’ve done nothing different at all… and now it is working again.
