my computer requires a password after coming back from Sleep mode

After installing KIS 2019, now my computer requires a password after coming back from sleep mode. Also the computer shuts off after several hours. I checked Windows 7 sleep/power down modes and they have not changed (no password required). How do I change this back from whatever KIS did ? Не связывайтесь с моими настройками!

Welcome. Is it requesting a hard drive password, or a Windows user logon password or a Kaspersky application password?

It's requesting a Windows user logon password after my screen times out - but Windows is set as below.

engbob, right-click your desktop and select the "Personalize" option. Then in the lower right corner select and press "Screen Saver". Show screenshot window "Screen Saver Settings"

Thank you Andrew, but I don't use a screen saver - the options are grayed out

Hello engbob,
  1. Was ScreenSaver "greyed out", prior to installing KIS?
  2. Was any AV software in use, prior to installing KIS?
  3. Was the computer shutdown, rebooted, after installing KIS?
  4. Please start run cmd, type winver - please post back image of popup (system details)?
  5. KIS 19 version? patch(x)? x=letter > KIS application, select ? (Support), popup shows version & patch info.
  6. Free? or licensed? (see note2, at the end of my reply)
Please let us know? Also, please go to:
  1. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
(a) Select Restore Default Settings (b) Reboot device, using Full shutdown method. (c) Recheck issue?
  1. Fixed, good:clap_tone3:
Not fixed, please go to:
  1. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
(d) Select Advanced Power Settings
  1. Power Options, Advanced Settings
(e) Select "Change Settings that are currently unavailable" Are any additional options now available? (please refer my next image) IF "yes", please change all "Require a password on wakeup" to No (f) Reboot device, using Full shutdown method. (g) Recheck issue?
  1. Fixed, good:clap_tone3:
  2. Not fixed, please post back?
Thank you:pray_tone3: Note1: I've separated the issues, (AA) = password, (BB) system shutdown. The above reply is to address (AA). If (AA) is resolved after following "everything", we happily work on (BB). Note2: Kaspersky free software has (config) limitations, advertising & no Technical Support. If we know this, we ensure we never waste your time, advising you, for example: "contact Technical Support".
