Hello @ukella

Welcome!

  1. Which KSC version & patch(x) x=letter, on the Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, righclick the Kaspersky icon, select About?
  2. What happens when you test:  Input → Test your microphone ?
  3. Has the Windows Sound troubleshooter been run?
  4. In KSC Reports are there any “microphone” events?  If “yes”, please post an image?
  5. In Windows Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Security and Maintenance\Problem Reports - are there any microphone events?
  6. If KSC is paused & exited, does the microphone issue persist?
  7. Have the device drivers been checked?
  8. Is Bluetooth enabled & active?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

Kaspersky is uninstalled, i am only using windows defender.

I've tried to fix it on kaspersky page, idon't have the access to the application control because its premium, i have tried it, i also tried doing specify trusted applications and added skype still didn't work. i run the  directx diagnostics tool and no problem was found.

i have contacted skype Community and tried their methods.

And uninstalled Kaspersky, the problem is not solved.

Bluetooth is enabled when its needed usually disabled.

Hello @ukella

  1. What about the Microphone Audio driver
  2. In Startup programs, is there a Universal Audio service & is it on
  3. Are you creating System restore point before each change
  4. Are you shutting down the machine, using Shutdown, not Restart, after each change
  5. In Windows Event logs, go to the date you installed Kaspersky Security Cloud, export all System events & attach📎 the Report please?
  6. Have you contacted Microsoft Technical Support?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏
