Malware verdict per Threat Intelligence Portal, but clean verdict per Kaspersky desktop version.

I am running Kaspersky internet security with latest updates. I downloaded a file which I know to be a trojan and scanned it on my computer with Kaspersky and it declares it clean and safe. I uploaded the same file to Kaspersky threat intelligence portal and it says it is malware known for 5 years. Why is this?
