Hello @Ryan8188

Welcome!

  1. In the MAC Activity Monitor app, under Process Name list, can you select Kaspersky Internet Security process(s) or actual app  & use the Force Quit button ?
  2. Which KIS version are you trying to install?
  3. Have System requirements been confirmed?
  4. Has a incompatible applications check been done?

Please let us know?

Thank you🙏

Hi,

  1. I have managed to force quit
  2. I am not sure what version it is but I have downloaded it from the downloads centre in My Kaspersky so I believe its the latest version. How can I check this?
  3. Yes, all okay (Its a brand new Imac)
  4. Yes, all okay (Its a brand new Imac)

It is still stuck on this screen and wont let me delete the application and reinstall as it says it is locked.

Your help is much appreciated.

Hello @Ryan8188

You’re most welcome☺

Thank you for the additional information👌

If you’re unable to access the KIS GUI finding the version is not so easy, and atm, not so important, because of the current issue, which really needs to be fixed, you could try running the system in single user mode to recover access,  however, (ioo), it’s better to do this with assistance from Kaspersky Technical Support, on the Support page, select your location, select Application use, then select from options: Online Chat (not available all locations), Phone (not available all locations), Submit a request → via your MyKaspersky account.

Thank you🙏
