Hey,

I'm a doctor; at our hospital, our three computers have this USB .lnk virus. When we insert a USB flash disc into the affected computers, the disk gets named E:.lnk, and the virus creates shortcuts to duplicate existing folders.

I thought I could easily solve this problem with my premium Kaspersky license. I downloaded Kaspersky to the affected computer and ran a couple of scans, but Kaspersky couldn't find anything. 1 spoken computer, which has another antivirus software installed , has detected a trojan when an infected USB is inserted into the PC. But it doesn't allow you to delete it or clean the USB.

My Flash disk got infected, and now I am afraid to insert it into my PC. I know Disc can get clean with some .cmd codes, but I'm curious why Kaspersky can't handle it by itself.

Thank you for your help.
